When the doubt creeps in
You're a creative who just finished a new project and it's time to publicly share it, but you're having doubts
"What if people don't like it?"
"What if people who are more talented than me call me out?"
"What if people think I'm dumb for actually thinking this was good?"
The way you combat the self-doubt is by having unshakeable belief in what you're offering. When you believe in it, it will be easier to talk about
Want proof? Step into this scenario:
Let's say you're at a trade show. You've got a nice booth and everything.
The product you're required to sell is a 3 story beach home, right along the water. The cost: $1000 flat.
Would it feel hard for you to sell the product? I don't think so. You'd be smiling ear to ear and probably be in awe of the insane deal they're getting.
What would make that so enjoyable to sell? You 100% believe in the value of what you're offering.
Now, there's some crazy guy who walks by and says he's not interested in a beach home no matter how good today's special is. What would you think about him? Would you take the rejection personally? If anything, you'd probably think he's insane for not recognizing the incredible deal he's passing up on.
You see, when you 100% believe in what you create, talking about it becomes easy and other people's opinions become irrelevant
So the question for you is: What do you think about your creative works?
