Why You Haven't Reached Your Dream Yet

Because you’re not suppose to. You’re not ready, your ideal situation is still being prepared, the people who will support you in the position are still going through their own development. It’s not time yet because more work still needs to be done.

What if I told you the worst things would be getting everything you wanted right now? We’d all love to go straight to the happily ever after part of our life, but, if we skip the messy middle and it’s lessons, we would lose that success very quickly. I like to use the example of people who win the lottery and then lose all of the money in a couple of years. They lose it because they weren't ready for it. Unlike someone who earned a million dollars, the winners did not have systems, structure, guidance, or a mindset that would help them sustain or grow that amount to more. They may have the money (getting the end result of being wealthy), but they're still behaving from the identity they had when they were poorer. You're now building up the foundational tools to sustain your growth.

You are meant to go through the hard moments

You going to fail frequently

It is supposed to be difficult because it’s all part of the journey.

Those hard lessons prepare you for the experiences you’ll have when you’re finally doing your calling. Imagine having to go through them unprepared. like sudden being expected to be a champion weight lifter, but you’ve lifted frequently is your phone. You’d fail right on the spot because it wasn’t your time yet.

I have no doubt you will succeed, that you will impact this world with your own unique gift and abilities. But right now, we’ve gotta start small. Lifting weights, doing no name internships, posting Insta posts that only your mom likes. It’s all part of the journey.
